It’s Socktober!
Throughout the month of October, Bayview will be collecting socks to help keep our
homeless population warm over the coming winter months. If you are interested in
participating, please have your child drop off a pair of new, warm socks into the Socktober
box , located in the front hall.

Winter Clothing and Halloween Eco Swaps
As a way to limit the impact on our landfill sites, Bayview will again be hosting a Winter
Clothing Swap. In addition, we will be adding a Halloween Costume Swap! Thanks to
Mrs. Nicoll for the idea for this great new addition to our swaps!

Simply bring or send in any of your child’s outgrown, gently used winter wear (coats,
hats, scarves andmittens or gloves) or any Halloween costumes that your may be
finished with.You can place them in the designated area in the library. Then help
yourself to anything your children or your family’s or friends’ children can use. Save
our environment and save some $$$. It’s a win, win!
